Day 31 - fruit salad .. yummy yummy

I made another kick ass meal for my SIL & BIL this morning. Crepes filled with a cream cheese/cottage cheese/sour cream sweet mixture complete with homemade strawberry sauce and whipping cream (didn't get a picture of any of that) and a fruit salad.

Day 30 - some Wii fun

Errol's sister and brother-in-law stopped by today to crash for the night. I made a yummy prime rib dinner with yorkshires, roasted carrots, garlic whipped potatoes and gravy! .. it was delish. Then after the kids went to bed we broke out the Wii

Day 29

I didn't take a picture today, so here's an oldie.

William. 13 months. I miss his curly hair

Day 28 - Making Crayons

A friend of mine picked this up in the states for the kids ... the idea is cool, but it takes too bloody long to make a crayon. The kids enjoyed it though. I don't think it's going to get much use though

We had a lot of snow over the weekend

Day 24 - Jan 24, 2010

I gave Benjamin a banana chocolate chip muffin today, I thought I had picked out all of the chocolate chips from the pieces I gave him. It seems like he found one.

Day 23 - Jan 23, 2010

Day 18 - Jan 18, 2010

This is the new "cool" garbage can we got yesterday. Since moving back to Saskatchewan I have been on the lookout for a big garbage can (at least 50L). Seeing as how there is no curbside recycling, organic waste pick up or yard waste pick up I found we were filling up our other can daily. We finally found this one at Costco yesterday, so we picked it up. It has a sensor on it so that when you get close to the lid it opens up. Cool right? .. not really. The damn thing opens up when you walk by or stand too close. The kids are having great fun with it. When your really want it to open (like, when you are standing there with raw meat packaging) it doesn't. And the sucker takes 4 D sized batteries. At this rate they will be dead in a couple of days.

Day 17 - Jan 17, 2010

This is how William spent a good portion of his day

Day 16 - Jan 16, 2010

I love scrapbooking, I wish I had more time to do it though. Errol is suppose to be building me a craft room/office in the basement so hopefully that will start soon. Until that happens I am going to do some digital scrapbooking. I've been buying kit's and  add on's for a while and decided that now is the time to start. This is one page that I have done. I'm not overly thrilled with it, but it's a start. The "cute as can be" is coming off.

Day 15 - Jan 15, 2010

I didn't take a picture today, so I am going to steal an idea from Christie and post an old picture from my album.

Day 14 - Jan 14, 2010

It's becoming impossible to get a decent shot of the 3 boys togehter. William wanted no part of being in a picture and Benjamin wasn't interested in sitting still.

Day 13 - Jan 13, 2010

Nathan received a make your own kaleidoscope for Christmas, we finally got around to putting it all together, I think I had more fun with that part than he did. He does enjoy the final product though and is happy to have anyone look into his "stethoscope"

Day 12 - Jan 12, 2010

Yesterday I became a Wii owner, and today I added a Wii Fit Plus and Active .. may the force be with me.

Day 11 - Jan 11, 2010

I am turning into my father. I have my own little weather station and I love it. There is a little contraption that sits outside and it send information to the base, I get update weather information. Yes, I am a geek.

My father used to have his t.v tuned to the weather channel (for those of you in Winnipeg, it was the Environment Canada channel, changed screens every so often .. he had it on this channel so much that when you turned the t.v this station was embedded in the screen)

Day 10 - Jan 10, 2010

Take me too ...

Benjamin is getting really good at letting you know that you can't leave him behind. He was screaming during this photo

Day 9 - Jan 9, 2010

Boys and their toys. Errol took the boys out for a quad right tonight. They loved it, and I am sure our neighbours loved the noise.

Day 8 - Dec 8, 2010

Where's my big hammer?? This is Williams favorite thing to say, I probably hear it 100x a day. Most kids get attached to a stuffed animal or a blanket, but not my kid, he is attached to a hammer. It goes everywhere with him and if he doesn't have it look out!.

He is also pretty attached to his new flashlight, I have to go into his room every night and turn it off after he's fallen asleep.

Day 7 - Jan 7, 2010

I slacked, not picture was snapped today

Thursday, January 7, 2010

Day 6 - Jan 6, 2010

Brrrr ....

Day 5 - Jan 5, 2010

Chunkers ...

Day 4 - Jan 4, 2010

Where there's smoke - there is fire. This morning when I was getting Benjamin ready to head out William kept telling me there was a fire, I would ask him where and he just kept telling me here or in Benjamin's room .. I continued on and we all left. When we were heading back home I noticed a lot of smoke in the air, as we got closer to town I realized that was from our end of town, as we were getting closer I was starting to freak out a bit as the smoke was coming from what looked like was my neighbourhood. My heart was pounding. Thankfully it wasn't my house, but some family a few blocks from me lost their home today. Luckily everyone got out, but the house is completely destroyed. (I have no idea what William was talking about, as this house was fine when we left. I'm thinking maybe he was looking at the pilot light in the gas fireplace .. that, or maybe he can predict the future !!)

Day 3 - Jan 3, 2010

Back Home, it's been a crazy couple of months. We had to be out of our house in Acton back on Nov 12, I then spend a couple of interesting days with E's cousin in town, then I flew with the boys to Winnipeg to spend 2.5 weeks. We finally got possession of our new house in Saskatchewan on Dec 1. We then had a busy couple of weeks (with a trip to Edmonton in there, and E's work xmas party at our place) Then we went back to Winnipeg for 10 days over Christmas .. and now we're back home and I get to finish organizing and start to enjoy our new place

Day 2 - Jan 2, 2010

Somewhere in Manitoba or Ontario, along the Trans Canada Hwy

Day 1 - Jan 1, 2010

New Years Day
Here is William out on the deck at the cabin in Kenora, ON
Bathroom breaks are pretty easy if you're a boy.

Finally

I finally have my act together .. so here it goes.

still waiting ...

We went back home to Winnipeg for Christmas and I left my laptop there :(. It's being purolated to me by my parents and it should be back in my hands tomorrow. Once it's back I will be able to upload some photos and get this show in the road.

You never realize how much you use something until it's gone

Project 365

I have decided to give this a shot. I am following in the footsteps of my internet/message board friends and I am going to try and post a picture each day during 2010. I am already off to a bad start as we are 3 days into the new year and I won't be posting anything until tomorrow at the earliest.

Good Luck to me!
